自己紹介
I was born just outside Chicago in 1966, but I have lived in 10 different states around America. My interest in Japan came from my grandparents who lived in Tokyo and also from watching Japanese cartoons and monster movies on TV. I studied Japanese and Japanese history in college and then went on to get an MA in TESL. I moved to Japan in 1993 and taught at a junior high/high school for two years before coming to the university in 1996.

I enjoy sports and outdoor activities such as hiking and mountain biking. I go to a gym where I do weight training and play squash about three times a week. I also love movies and making computer art and animation.
